Periodic Products today announced that both the Singapore Registry of Patents and the Republic of South Africa Patent Office issued patents (number 161396 and number 2010/02988, respectively), which cover fundamental aspects of the Company’s Chelok™ metal binding technology. This proprietary technology is applicable to multiple metal binding applications in several areas, including water purification and treatment, mining operations, corrosion prevention, and plastic and fibers.

Periodic Products today announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued patent number 7,964,688, which covers fundamental aspects of the Company’s Chelok® metal binding technology. This proprietary technology is applicable to multiple metal binding applications in several areas, including water purification and treatment, mining operations, corrosion prevention, and plastic and fibers.

The title of the presentation is "Myths of Metal Staining" and will cover issues related to metal staining of pools and spas.
