David McLaren

McLaren is co‑founder of Periodic Products Inc. and leads the company’s market expansion and product development. He established the successful CuLator® line and now drives advances in eco‑friendly plastics, synthetic fiber extrusion, and MetalXtract® filtration media. An accomplished product designer, he was a member of the original Circa 1801 team and served as lead Signature Designer developing advanced woven materials adopted globally across furniture, wallpaper, apparel, and luggage. Prior to Periodic Products, he ran his own design firm. McLaren studied Engineering at Michigan State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Textiles Technology from North Carolina State University. As Vice President, Business & Product Development, he champions sustainability and corporate environmental responsibility, ensuring products meet consumer needs while supporting responsible manufacturing.
