Sarasota, FL — Periodic Products, a leader in environmentally responsible chemical technologies, is proud to announce its continued support of Step Into Swim, an initiative of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) dedicated to promoting water safety and expanding access to swim education. This year, Periodic Products joins forces with fellow industry leaders BioLab, Solenis, and Teserra Outdoors to collectively donate $85,000—funding swim lessons for children nationwide.
This donation marks another milestone in Periodic Products’ long-standing commitment to water safety, environmental stewardship, and community impact. As a Gold Level sponsor for the third consecutive year, the company continues to invest in programs that help prevent childhood drowning and create more confident swimmers across the country.
In a historic first, Periodic Products also became the inaugural corporate donor to the newly created Rowdy Gaines Water Safety Champion Endowment Fund. This endowment, established by the PHTA Board of Directors in 2024, will provide long-term, sustainable funding for Step Into Swim’s lifesaving initiatives.
“This sponsorship at the Gold Level for three consecutive years demonstrates Periodic Products’ commitment to the mission of the Step Into Swim initiative of eliminating childhood drownings,” said Joseph Laurino, Ph.D., President and CEO of Periodic Products and Immediate Past Chairman of the PHTA Board of Directors. “This year, our contribution also represents the first corporate donation, matched by the PHTA Board of Directors, to the Rowdy Gaines Water Safety Champion Endowment Fund, helping secure the future of Step Into Swim for generations to come.”
