PERIODIC PRODUCTS AND SQUARE GATE GROUP ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO ACCELERATE DEPLOYMENT OF ADVANCED METAL RECOVERY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION TECHNOLOGIES ACROSS SOUTHERN AFRICA

Sarasota, Florida, USA, and Gaborone, Botswana — 20th July 2026 — Periodic Products, Inc. and Square Gate Group today announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption and commercial deployment of innovative environmental and resource recovery technologies across Southern Africa’s mining, extractives, water treatment, and industrial sectors.

The partnership combines Periodic Products’ proprietary Chelok® Polymer Technology with Square Gate Group’s regional market entry expertise, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and commercial facilitation network to identify, develop, and support high-value opportunities across Botswana and the wider Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.

Periodic Products’ sustainable Chelok® Polymer Technology provides an innovative approach to metal recovery and environmental remediation by enabling the removal, concentration, and recovery of metals from a wide range of industrial and environmental inputs. The technology offers a scalable solution for mining operations, tailings management, remediation initiatives, and water treatment applications.

Chelok® polymers are reusable, non-toxic, and capable of supporting more sustainable resource recovery practices. Chelok® Polymer filter units also support water treatment applications by removing metals from affected sources, addressing both industrial challenges and environmental priorities.

Southern Africa’s mining sector continues to face increasing demand for solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance resource recovery, and support stronger Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) outcomes. Through this partnership, Periodic Products and Square Gate Group aim to support mining companies, governments, water utilities, and communities with innovative solutions aligned with the region’s sustainability priorities.

The partnership follows Periodic Products’ engagement at the Future of Mining Summit in Botswana, where the company was introduced to key mining stakeholders, government representatives, industry leaders, and technical decision-makers. These engagements highlighted strong interest in innovative solutions for tailings management, responsible resource recovery, and environmental improvement.

“This is an exciting moment for both Periodic Products and the Square Gate Group. Together we look forward to bringing this breakthrough technology to mining companies, national and regional governments, water utilities, and communities in the SADC region. We are eager to improve metal removal and recovery and leave a positive environmental impact.” said Dr. Joseph Laurino, Ph.D., President and CEO of Periodic Products.

“This partnership reflects exactly what Square Gate Group was built to do: Connecting African opportunities with global technologies, strategic partnerships, and sustainable investment. Chelok® Polymer Technology directly addresses some of the region’s most important priorities — responsible resource recovery, cleaner water, improved environmental performance, and stronger ESG outcomes. We are proud to partner with Periodic Products to bring this innovative solution to Botswana and the wider SADC region,” said Shamil Agosi, Founder and Managing Director of Square Gate Group.
