Periodic Products today announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued patent number 8,420,757, which covers implementation of the Company’s Chelok® metal binding technology to isolate, recover and recycle metals This proprietary technology has numerous applications in environmental remediation, mining and industrial processes. “We’re especially pleased with this technology’s potential for a multitude of environmental and industrial applications,” said Joseph Laurino, CEO and founder of Periodic Products. “This is the second patent relating to our Chelok technology – the fifth overall for the Company – and it continues to strengthen our growing intellectual property portfolio.”
